On April 27, 2022, the opening ceremony of Competence Centers in two areas "Mobile Robotics" and "Information Cable Networks" was held on the basis of the KGP at the Higher College of Electronics and Communications in Pavlodar as part of the implementation of the project "Zhas Maman", announced by the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev at the opening of the Year of Youth, which was launched in 2020. The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of Education of Pavlodar region and the social partners of the college of Kazakhtelecom JSC, Transtelecom JSC, NC KTZ JSC, PCN-101 LLP, SNN company LLP. The guests were presented to the audience with the latest equipment conforming to Worlds kills world standards. Students demonstrated the assembly, programming and control of robots in Mobile robotics. There is also an electronics laboratory at the college, students are being trained for the World skills championships. In the competence center "Information Cable Networks", the guests got acquainted with the latest equipment used in practice by social partners in the provision of communication services.

The opening of the Centers will provide new opportunities for teachers and students to integrate educational programs into their professional activities, as well as expand the prospects for cooperation with employers.

Moreover, the Centers being created are a base platform for the preparation and holding of Worldskills championships of various levels.
