On April 13-14, 2022, the Regional competition "World Skills Pavlodar – 2022" was held on the basis of the KGP at the Higher College of Electronics and Communications on the competence "Electronics".
The competition program for this competence consisted of four modules:
- "Module 1" – Software design;
- "module 2" – Programming;
- "Module 3" – Assembly;
- "module 4" – Performance check.
The participants demonstrated the following skills by profession:
calculate and select component parameters that meet the intended purpose;
design schemes that meet the specifications and meet the intended purpose;
use circuit modeling software to verify the compliance of circuit designs with the intended purpose;
discuss and understand design specifications and technical specifications;
draw schematic diagrams using circuit description input and PCB wiring software;
assemble components on printed circuit boards to create functional circuits;
to test prototypes and, if necessary, debug them;
to finalize and eliminate design errors in accordance with industry standards.
write, compile, upload, test code in C and fix errors in it in accordance with the technical conditions;
use the usual functionality of the C language;
use system-supported functions;
open, compile and load previously written code into embedded systems;
use generally accepted best practices when writing code;
use previously written code and (or) compose and write code implementing power consumption management methods.
identify, assemble and use electromechanical parts;
Identify and assemble conventional sensors. To assemble mechanical parts for the formation of working blocks;
identify, assemble and use various types of parts and components parts for surface mounting;
perform work in compliance with the established sequence of operations and maintaining tolerances;
Perform component soldering using lead-free solder to ensure compliance with industry standards;
carry out installation, testing and calibration of the completed assembly in accordance with customer specifications.
The following students took part in the competence of "Electronics": Iksak D.E., representing the specialty 1306000 "Radio Electronics and communications", Okuneva Yu.V., representing the specialty 07140900 "Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications", Yakovlev-Krivoperstov I.V., representing the specialty 1303000 "Automation, telemechanics and traffic control on railway transport". During the competition, the contestants demonstrated a high level of knowledge in the field of their profession and the desire for new heights of their professional skills.
