The Department of Education of the Pavlodar region, on the basis of the Higher College of Electronics and Communications, organized a meeting with public figure, writer Zhan Akzhanov on issues of gambling addiction. Heads and deputy heads of educational work of schools and colleges were invited to the meeting. More than 250 teachers discussed a pressing problem in modern society - gambling addiction. The purpose of the event: prevention of gambling addiction among the population, disclosure of the problem of gambling addiction. “The first signs of gambling addiction may appear already at school age, so teachers, school and college administrators need to be aware of the problem,” noted Zhan Akzhanov.
