1. Photograph, photograph and once again photograph
Jay Maisel, the world famous photographer, allocated this council as the main. Take with yourself the camera every day and take a lot of picture. It will increase the probability that you will photograph something fascinating. There will be also no day that you regretted about it. You will see this world in a different way.
2. Count up to 10
Spend time "to crop" your picture. Do not photograph for the purpose of trimming of the picture at a post-processing stage. You will save time and will not lose quality of the image because of scaling and framing at a post-processing stage. As the military photographer Robert Kapa of "zoom with your feet" spoke.
3. Pay attention to light
Do not photograph in direct sunshine, especially if you remove people. It is valid not cool! Try to pay attention to quality and the direction of light around you. Take more pictures late at night and early in the morning. In the middle of the day, when the sun the brightest, the probability to make the good picture not so of a bike.
4. Study exposition basis
Photosensitivity (ISO), endurance and diaphragm. Unpack to yourself cribs and put in a bag with the camera. As soon as all of you remember, you receive complete control over your photos. Eventually, you it is smarter, than your camera, isn't it?!
5. Check a background
Make sure that from the head of the photographed subject nothing grows (a tree or a telephone column).
6. hold the device steady
This can seem obvious, but it is the good idea. Develop a habit to support the camera by one hand from below. It will help not to fill up the horizon and also to reduce trembling of the camera.
7. Pay attention to composition
Begin with several articles on composition. Study rules of more experienced photographers. There is a huge number of information. Use it!
8. Forget about flash
Learn to remove in the conditions of low illumination by means of the correct combination of high photosensitivity (ISO) (it not difficult: large numbers mean the big brightness of the image), excerpts and diaphragms (for low illumination, the lower, the better as it passes more light). If you have to use flash, use the diffuser. Photographed will tell you for this thanks.
9. Study works of great photographers
Decide on those photographers who are pleasant to you also with what in their work is pleasant to you. It is the quite good idea to try to copy style of photographers whom you admire. You can learn much, trying to find out what induced them to make pictures which you love. After a while you will find out that your own style arises in itself.
10. Move
Do you precisely want that each photo looked equally and was made from one foreshortening?
Sit down, bend, experiment with corners … it much more cheerfully.
11. Experiment away!
You remember if you begin to go crazy with your camera, then it is possible. Take hundred pictures of the same bathtub with a different exposition (only do not show anybody). It is the best way to learn the camera inside and outside.
12. Bonus council: concentrate on details
Be not focused only on the picture in general. Sometimes details transfer the atmosphere of the place or a situation much better. It is also good way to mark out certain colors in photos.
